Holiday Rush and Party Preparations {part 1}
Oh how I wish I had a few extra hours each day in October. Actually, can I just request some extra days in October? I have been so fortunate to receive a multitude of orders from my Etsy shop but it comes at a time that I am also trying to focus on planning my daughters birthday party. If you haven't heard, it's her 1st one! In other words, it must be spectacular. I also need to prepare for the holiday rush in my shop. So I had to put a notice in my shop that all orders for the remainder of October will not be shipped until the very end of October. Very sad about this, but I need it! I am also in need of an organization day. Preferably a week but, you know, I'm short on days this month. Below is a corner of my studio at it's current state. And this isn't even bad. See those empty shelves? They used to house scrapping {crap} that has been sitting there forever that I am finally getting rid of. I never use it! Those shelves are prime location and I need to fill them with things I love and use every day. So I am prepping my studio for the holiday rush and making party decor {which needs to be done in a week and a half!}.
{Yes that is a glimpse of a very old television on the right.}
And of course I have to share all the scrumptiousness I received in the mail to decorate for said spectacular birthday party. This picture only shows a quarter of what I'm using. Can't wait to post pictures of the final product {think garlands, banners, food signs and decor, yay!}. Oh and I of course must make a mini album of her party. *Sigh* Do you think I can get all this done in the next week and a half? Oh come on. Have a little faith {someone needs to}!
Wish me luck!
