1st Birthday Party Planning w/ Crate Paper and October Afternoon

After my little epiphany and a sudden need of goal changes {read} I made a nice purchase of scrapbooking goodies to use as decorations for my daughters carnival theme birthday party.  I am taking my daughters first birthday party planning to an all new level. My all time favorite line is Crate Paper.  Oh, it is just a little piece of scrapbook heaven.  There isn't a line I don't love and I am always inspired whenever I see the wonderfulness created over at their blog.

My other favorite, and it is a new-ish one for me, is October Afternoon.  It is new to me because this is the first time I have purchased their scrapbookness but I have been gaga over them for quite some time now.  Just their name makes me love them!  And their line, Midway, is so perfect for my daughters birthday theme.

So here are a few goodies I bought:

Eeshk!  So excited.  And that's just a taste of what I have coming in the mail.  I am planning on making some paper garlands, a "Happy Birthday" banner embellished with lots of ephemera, "Welcome" and food signs, a photo booth sign (we are getting hay stacks and setting them up in the backyard so families can have a little portrait session) and maybe a lemonade stand - if we are feeling ambitious.  I will definitely be posting my progress her on my LBB. So keep a look out!
