Shop Reminiscence

Paper.  Remember paper?  Before everything became digital.  Before books were read on screens.  Before e-cards.  Before homework was only done on computers.  Before families spent "family time" on their individual tablets and I-phones.

Paper is nostalgic.  Anything made out of paper is delicate.  It has a story.  A process.  I want to bring back this nostalgia with the products in my shop.

Shop Reminiscence started out as a place for me to share my greeting cards, gift tags, favor tags and paper decor with the world. When I was pregnant with my daughter last year I was looking for something to document all the wonderful moments I experienced during my pregnancy.  The ups and the downs.  All I could find were bulky commercialized books where I had to answer a bunch of questions I didn't have time for, or phone apps.  Don't get me wrong.  I lo-ove my apps that help me quickly track notes or look up information.  Let's get real, I am a human in a high tech world after all.  But I was missing that...nostalgic feel of something I could touch, feel, flip through.  Something more personal and scrapbook like.  Something I could one day hand down to my daughter that maybe she could treasure as much as I do today.  To my surprise my journals have sustained my shop and I have been able to sort of reinvent and revamp my shop making it a better experience for YOU.

So come stop by my shop and take a look around.  Even if you are just there to window shop, I'd love to have you stop in my virtual front doors.
